Only 10 weeks to go...

video

So here we go then, I thought I better get the important bit out of the way early on so that's why the trailer takes such pride of place here. Now all I've got to do is try to contextualize it, and explain what me and it are doing here - or seeking to do.

Anyway...

I work for DogWoof pictures, a film distributor, and in the next couple on months we're going to be releasing "Bunny Chow". It's a low budget, independent South African feature and I for one am very excited about it. It's going to be quite a limited release at first, centred at the ICA London for two weeks from 21st March.

The film focuses on a few days in the lives of three stand up comedians (David Kibuuka, Kagiso Lediga, and Joey Yusuf Rasdien) and takes in details of their fraught relationships with their girlfriends, their progress in the even more fraught world of stand up comedy, and everything in between – and that’s a lot!!

The film has an amazing soundtrack, and real drive and impetus given by the characters themselves; they’re what drives the film forward and the dialogue and interaction between the characters is one of the films real achievements – did I mention it’s laugh out loud funny? Well take it from me, it is!!

I’ll leave it at that for now – but check back in the next couple of days and we should have some more clips, information, and other wonderful things here to whet your appetite ahead of the film event of the century… you don’t think I’m over selling it do you?

Oh yeah, and come and find us on Facebook – just search for “Bunny Chow”, simple as that really.
